Our Story
Atelier di Eden began with a simple question:
What happens when wonder becomes a way of living?
Over time, this question emerged through many encounters—walking Country, sitting with elders, observing children at play, wandering unfamiliar cities, collecting weathered objects, and noticing how certain materials seemed to hold stories of their own. Again and again, it became clear that learning was not something that happened only in classrooms. It was already unfolding everywhere—in the relationships between people, places, memories, and materials.
Atelier di Eden was created as a space to explore those relationships.
Inspired by the pedagogical principles of Reggio Emilia, the atelier is understood not as a room, but as a way of seeing. It is a living research space where curiosity is honoured, questions are welcomed, and materials are approached as collaborators in the learning process.
At its heart, Atelier di Eden is guided by the belief that learning begins with relationship: relationship to place, to culture, to community, to materials, and to the more-than-human world. Every seed, stone, fibre, fragment, and story carries the potential to provoke wonder and deepen understanding.

Weaving together my roots and the influence of Reggio Children, “di” becomes a quiet thread, stitching both worlds together.
